Mantis™ Laser Event Detector

Mantis™ Laser Event Detector and decoder is an optical sensor that detects pulsed laser signals in its field of view and provides frame triggers to a camera to image the laser spots. It decodes and reports any laser designator PRF (pulse repetition frequency).

Mantis™ Laser Event Detector can be paired with Attollo’s Phoenix™ SWIR, Griffin™ broadband MWIR, and Aetos™ eSWIR cameras.

  • Laser Target Markers (LTMs), used for handoff to laser designator systems.

  • Laser Target Designators (LTDs), used for guiding laser guided bombs

  • Eye-safe Laser Rangefinders (LRFs), used for precision laser target locating
