Attollo Engineering acquires Sensor Creations to add IC Design Capability

Addition of Sensor Creation’s state-of-the-art analog and digital Integrated Circuit (IC) design expertise supplements Attollo’s position as a leading US supplier of IR sensors, components, and camera cores.

 Camarillo, CA (January 8, 2024) – Attollo Engineering is pleased to announce the addition of Sensor Creations to its organization.  All aspects of Sensor Creation’s operation have been integrated into Attollo Engineering, including its founder Dr. Stefan Lauxtermann, his staff of engineers, and all intellectual properties owned by the company.

Customers of Sensor Creations should expect the same level of readout integrated circuit (ROIC) design and system integration expertise, now coupled with the benefits provided by production and management resources offered by the larger Attollo organization.  In a similar way, Attollo’s defense and commercial customers can expect a wider range of sensors leveraging the tight integration of modern digital ROIC design and its leading-edge sensor materials, packaged focal plane arrays, and IR camera cores.  The addition of Sensor Creations IC design capabilities opens up a number of emerging markets, such as LIDAR, event-based detection, and applications outside of IR imaging.
