Attollo Engineering is increasing the capabilities of its infrared camera offerings by incorporating the MIPI CSI-2 interface across all product lines, including the Griffin (MWIR), Phoenix (SWIR), and Aetos (eSWIR) cameras. This addition aligns with the industry’s demand for enhanced connectivity in practical applications. Alongside existing interface options of Parallel, USB-C, and Camera Link, MIPI CSI-2 provides an additional option for camera interfacing to a host system. For many AI/ML processing platforms, MIPI is the preferred interface.
Furthermore, the MIPI CSI-2 interface addresses the demand for faster data transfer and reduced power consumption, critical requirements for system integrators working in challenging environments. This enhancement allows integrators to seamlessly incorporate Attollo Engineering’s infrared cameras into a variety of applications.

For Attollo’s Griffin MWIR and Phoenix SWIR lines of infrared cameras, the addition of the MIPI CSI-2 interface further enhances their video capabilities and demonstrates Attollo’s commitment to providing advanced solutions to our customers for their integration challenges. The MIPI CSI-2 option is now available for all camera products.
