Attollo Engineering is Seeking Partnerships with Educational and Industry Institutions:
Camarillo, CA (March 3, 2023) — Attollo Engineering is seeking partners to contribute to the CHIPS Act and help create a more resilient and competitive United States semiconductor industry. We are teaming up with regional and nationwide Hubs, colleges, and investors to grow Attollo’s cleanroom and facility, and to educate the upcoming technical workforce.
What is the CHIPS ACT:
The CHIPS (Creating Helpful Incentives to Produce Semiconductors) Act is a law passed by the US Congress in December 2020 to address the shortage of semiconductor chips, which are essential components in electronic devices. The Act provides funding to support the domestic production of semiconductor chips, including research and development, design, and manufacturing. It also includes incentives for companies to invest in semiconductor manufacturing facilities in the US, as well as measures to improve supply chain transparency and resilience. Overall, the CHIPS Act aims to strengthen the US semiconductor industry and ensure that the country maintains its technological leadership in this critical area.
Why is the CHIPS Act Important:
The CHIPS Act is important as it seeks to reduce the United States’ reliance on foreign suppliers and create new domestic jobs, boosting the country’s competitiveness in the global semiconductor market.
